Customers book online, select the desired duration of their booking, select the date and time, select any add-ons, complete the intake form, show up to their booking 10 minutes prior, do their recording, leave the studio, the files are uploaded to a shared google drive at the end of the day, the files include the final edited video, raw files from each mic and camera and the davinci resolve project file, the files are stored on our google drive for 14 days.

Pouch 6 Studios employs proprietary and advanced auto-switching software that automatically toggles between recording inputs, such as cameras and microphones, to ensure a continuous, high-quality recording experience. This technology simplifies the production process, enabling creators to focus on their content. The result is a fully edited podcast ready for upload to platforms like YouTube and Spotify, the RAW files from each microphone and camera, and the davinci resolve project file auto-uploaded to a shared Google Drive folder, completed by the end of each business day.

Our digital audio workstations (DAWs) enable precise editing and mixing, allowing for effects like reverb and compression to perfect the sound. For podcast recordings, each participant’s audio is provided as separate, synced studio-quality WAV files, along with a mixed-down single audio file, all included in the service.
We capture footage using cutting-edge video technology, supporting up to three HD video feeds simultaneously. This setup minimizes post-production editing.
No, remote participation is not supported at Media Pouch.
No, using personal recording equipment is not permitted. We supply all required equipment and technology for your podcast/talking head recording.
After your session, we upload the audio/video files to a shared Google Drive folder, completed by the end of each business day. These files are available for download for 21 days. Should you fail to download your files within this period but request them within 6 weeks of your booking, we may be able to recover them from our server. However, recovery is not guaranteed, and a successful or unsuccessful retrieval incurs a $250 fee. Requests made more than 6 weeks after your session cannot be accommodated, and files will not be recoverable.
Downtown ATX Studio: Supports up to three individuals for recording. Recording more than three people at once is not feasible. Non-speaking producers or guests may utilize the studio room or lounge area, subject to space availability.
North ATX Studio: Supports up to four individuals for recording. Recording more than four people at once is not feasible. Non-speaking producers or guests may utilize the studio room subject to space availability.
Yes, we offer comprehensive editing and post-production services for podcasts and talking head videos recorded in our podcast studio. Our innovative auto-switching software facilitates live editing, minimizing post-production needs.
Downtown Austin: There is street parking with meters and parking garages in the surrounding area. You can park in any available spot that suits your needs and budget.
North Austin: There is free parking

You will be held responsible for any damage to the studio, property, equipment or software during your session.
Minors must be supervised by an adult at all times and are not allowed in the video studio.
Keep voices to a whisper while in the studio lounge during recording sessions.
Smoking and illegal drugs are not allowed on the premises.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
Bathrooms are located down the hall to the left of the studio.
Refreshments are available in the studio lounge and you are welcome to help yourself. Food and drinks are allowed, but please clean up after yourself.

To cancel or reschedule a session, please notify us at least 7 days before your scheduled time to receive a full refund (excluding fees) or to retain your membership/package hours. Cancellations made between 7 days and 24 hours prior to the session start will qualify for a 50% refund (excluding fees) or half of your membership/package hours back. If you do not show up for your scheduled session without prior notification, you will be charged the full booking price or the equivalent in membership/package hours. To avoid this charge and be eligible for a partial refund or credit, please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your session starts by contacting us at booknow@pouch6studios.com or (512) 200-4130.
Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your scheduled session time.
If you anticipate being late, please reach out to us immediately via email at booknow@pouch6studios.com, or by phone/text at (512) 200-4130. We will make every effort to accommodate you based on studio availability for the day. However, if you are more than 20 minutes late and haven’t informed us, we will have to cancel your session and you will be charged the full fee for the booked session.
If you expect to be late, please inform us immediately by contacting booknow@pouch6studios.com or (512) 200-4130. We’ll attempt to accommodate late arrivals within the day’s studio availability. Being over 15 minutes late without notification may lead to session cancellation and a charge for the full booking price. Requests to extend your session to offset a late start will be considered based on availability, with additional charges applied accordingly.
Guests are encouraged to arrive 10 minutes early and may utilize a 10-minute grace period after their session. Overrunning your booked time is subject to studio availability and will incur additional charges applied in 30 minute increments. If the studio’s schedule is fully booked, we will inform you beforehand. For those needing an extra 15-20 minutes for setup or wrap-up, booking an additional hour is advised.
Yes, despite our focus on smart and autonomous studio operations, our dedicated team is available to assist with setup and initiate the recording, ensuring a smooth experience.
Our standard recording quality is 1080p, but we offer 4K recording for an additional $50 per hour. Please bring three of your own SSDs for direct camera recording.
Every podcast booking comes with the live-edited video/audio file, raw files from each microphone and camera, and a DaVinci Resolve project file with synced and cut files. We do not offer separate pricing or packages for raw files or live-edited content alone.

Yes, our podcast studio is versatile enough for both single-person talking head videos and podcasts with up to 3 participants at our Downtown Austin Podcast Studio and 4 participants at our North AUstin Podcast Studio. For individual recordings, we maintain the dynamic three-camera setup to enrich the viewing experience. This includes automatic camera switching triggered by the speaker’s audio levels—when a pause is detected, the system seamlessly transitions to an alternate camera angle, enhancing the visual narrative. Regardless of the session type, all bookings come with the same comprehensive package of equipment, RAW files, and the final video/audio files, ensuring a professional-grade production every time.
To begin booking sessions with your package or membership, follow these steps:

Upon scheduling your appointment, you will receive an Initial Confirmation email. To reschedule or cancel, simply scroll to the bottom of this email and select the “Change/Cancel Appointment” option. This allows you to modify your appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. For added convenience, these changes can also be made through our scheduling app. If you prefer not to search for the initial confirmation email, we recommend utilizing the app for easy access to your appointment details.
You are allowed two reschedules for any given appointment.
Customers are able to add any and all emails they want since they have the privilege/access granted to them already.
Yes, our proprietary technology reads your answers on the booking form and configures the system settings accordingly ten minutes before your booking. If the wrong information is provided this can create an issue in the system configuration and requires the studio manager to manually update the system, which can take time away from your recording time. If you ever have any changes to your booking, please convey that updated information to us as soon as possible.
If you are using a local NAS, the easiest way to transfer everything from Google Drive to the NAS is as follows:
- Download Google Drive for Desktop on a computer that has the NAS mounted (this will mount Google Drive to that computer).
- Create a shortcut of the parent file that we shared with you and move the shortcut onto your Google Drive.
- Drag the files from Google Drive to the NAS using the computer that has both mounted.
Unfortunately, we don’t supply teleprompters.
If you encounter any issues with the auto-switching feature in your podcast, such as delays or missed switches, please let us know within 48 hours of receiving your episode. Provide specific timestamps or details of the issue to help us identify and rectify the problem promptly.
For any adjustments or further editing needs, raw and final video files can be accessed and downloaded from the Google Drive folder shared with you. Please feel free to edit and polish your content as needed. This is why we include the DaVinci Resolve project with every recording. Our team is also available to assist with any editing concerns.
In instances where your podcast video lacks camera switching, indicating a potential malfunction with our auto-switching system, reach out to our team immediately. We aim to ensure the quality and seamless production of your podcast.
Podcast video files are stored for 21 days post-recording. It is crucial to review your episodes within this timeframe to ensure any issues can be addressed. After 21 days, the files are deleted from our servers. Please ensure to download and save your files within this period. If you fail to download your files in that time frame and need us to restore your files, this can be done for a $250 fee if it is under 6 weeks from your recording date.

While we strive to address and resolve issues promptly within a 48-hour window post-episode receipt, we understand that some issues might only become apparent later. In such cases, please still reach out to our team. We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction and will work with you to find a suitable solution, although options may be limited due to file storage policies.
If your audio and video don’t seem to match, it might be because you downloaded the file too soon. Our files upload in real-time, and sometimes they’re still uploading when you get the notification. If this happens, just wait a little longer and download the file again to get the fully synced version.
At Media Pouch, we prioritize the privacy and confidentiality of our clientele and, as such, do not disclose our client list. We are, however, eager to welcome your clients to our podcast studio and provide them with an exceptional recording experience.
Clients can check their bookings by setting up their client profile on the Acuity scheduling app on their mobile device, or by visiting the booking site and logging in using the email address they used to create their booking. Additionally, confirmation emails are sent for every booking, and clients can check their inbox for confirmation emails.
