Booking & Studio Policies
How do I book a session or package?
Sessions and packages can be booked through our website.
Can I reschedule my appointment?
Yes. Appointments may be rescheduled up until 24-hours before your booking. Use the “Change/Cancel Appointment” link in your confirmation email or via the Acuity app. You may reschedule your booking up to 2 times.
What is your cancellation and no-show policy?
- Cancel 7+ days from booking: Full refund (minus processing fee) or studio credit
- Cancel within 7–1 days: 50% refund (minus processing fee) or 50% studio credit
- Cancel <24 hours or no-show: No refund
How early should I arrive?
Arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your session.
What if I’m running late?
Inform us ASAP. If you’re more than 15 minutes late without notice, the session may be canceled.
If you anticipate being late, please reach out to us immediately via email at hello@mediapouch.com, or by phone/text at (512) 200-4130. We will make every effort to accommodate you based on studio availability for the day.
What happens if I need more time than I booked?
Your session includes:
– Setup time: Arrive up to 10 minutes early
– Recording time: Your full booked session
– Wrap-up time: 10 minutes after your session (free)
Going overtime:
Any time beyond the 10-minute wrap-up period incurs a 30-minute charge ($112.50). Overtime is only available if the studio isn’t booked after you. We’ll let you know during your session if overtime is possible.
Need extra time?
If you typically need 15-20 minutes for setup/breakdown, we recommend booking an additional hour to avoid overtime charges.o.
Studio Equipment & Recording
What equipment is included with my rental?
Downtown ATX Studio
- 3x Sony FX30
- 3x Shure SM7dB Mics + Studio Headphones
- Lighting: key light, backlighting, and accent lighting
- Acoustic paneling and sound treatment
Is assistance available during our session?
Yes. Our team is always onsite to ensure proper setup of equipment for your booking.
Can I use my own recording gear?
No. We provide and support all in-house equipment to maintain quality and workflow.
Can I record in 4K?
Yes, for an additional $50/hour. Bring your own 1TB minimum SSD to transfer the files. Recommended SSDs include: Samsung T7 Shield, Angelbird SSD2GO PKT, and SanDisk Extreme Pro V2.
Can I record solo or multi-person sessions?
Yes. Our studios accommodate both single-person talking heads and multi-guest podcasts (up to 3 people).
Does the booking include editing, and can I get just the raw files?
Every podcast booking comes with the live-edited video/audio file, raw files from each microphone and camera, and a DaVinci Resolve project file with synced and cut files. We do not offer separate pricing or packages for raw files or live-edited content alone.
Files, Editing & Delivery
What does the auto-switching software do?
It automatically cuts between speakers during the session, creating a ready-to-publish video file by the end of your recording
What files do I receive?
- Final edited .mp4 file (1080p / 29.97 frame rate)
- Raw files from each mic/camera
- .mp4 video files
- .wav audio files
- DaVinci Resolve project file
Files are delivered via Google Drive within 24 hours
How long are files stored?
Files remain available for 14 days. If you fail to download your files within 14 days of uploading, a $250 recovery fee applies. No recovery possible after 30 days post-removal from Google Drive.
Can I get just raw files or just edited files?
All bookings include everything. We don’t offer separate packages for only raw or only edited content.
How can I access raw and final video files for further editing?
For any adjustments or further editing needs, raw and final video files can be accessed and downloaded from the Google Drive folder shared with you. Please feel free to edit and polish your content as needed. This is why we include the DaVinci Resolve project with every recording. Our team is also available to assist with any editing concerns.
Can I share my folder with others?
Yes. You may add any email addresses to your shared folder.
Troubleshooting & Support
What if my episode is missing camera switches or has sync issues?
If something seems off (e.g., missing switches or desynced audio), please wait for files to fully upload before downloading. If issues persist, contact us with timestamps within 48 hours.
What happens if it’s been more than 48 hours?
We will still work with you to find a solution, though options may be limited due to file deletion policies.
What if I gave incorrect info on my intake form?
Our system auto-configures based on your intake form responses. Incorrect info can delay setup or affect recording quality. Always update us if your needs change.
Studio Guidelines
What rules should I follow in the studio?
- No personal recording gear
- No glitter/confetti, parties, or excessive alcohol
- No illegal drugs or smoking
- Be considerate of other creators – keep voices low in the shared lounge to avoid disrupting ongoing recordings in neighboring studios
- Clean up food/drinks
- Guests under 18 must be supervised
- You are responsible for any damage during your session

Can I have a remote guest?
Yes, via Streamyard. Select the add-on during checkout.
Do you offer a teleprompter?
Yes, hardware only. Bring your own tablet and app. Select the add-on during checkout.
Do you offer post-production editing services?
Yes, we offer comprehensive editing and post-production services for podcasts and talking head videos recorded in our podcast studio, email us for a quote. Additionally, our innovative auto-switching software facilitates live editing, minimizing post-production needs.
